Adult Religious Education: Through various programs, we attempt to help adults grow in love, knowledge, and understanding of the Gospel message. The topics are varied, from Scripture to Church history. Classes are regularly scheduled and taught by experienced persons. For more information, contact the Parish Office (255-0433). Church Library: Our Lady of Lourdes has an excellent collection of spiritual and educational books available to be taken out and read by parishioners. The Library is open Sunday mornings and as announced and can be accessed through the parish office. Parish School: *(fingerprinting requirement) Passing on our tradition and faith is most effectively done through our school. Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is a fully accredited school that serves children from Pre-K 3 through grade eight. Our true goal is to provide for the moral and intellectual formation of our youth. Our school is built upon respect for one another with the acknowledgement that each of us is created in God’s image and likeness. Give your child the best of gifts- a Catholic education. Parish School of Religion “STARGAZERS” : *(fingerprinting requirement) Children, ages K through 5th grade, even those enrolled in our parish school, are given an opportunity to further their faith formation one Saturday a month. Classes are held September through May one Saturday a month from 1:00pm-7:00pm. There are many opportunities to become involved in this ministry. Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults: *(fingerprinting requirement)The RCIA is the process for those wishing to join the Catholic Church. Anyone who is high school age or older is welcome. We invite participants to journey together toward full membership in the community. For more information, please call the church office (255-0433) Youth Ministry: *(fingerprinting requirement)All young people from 4th -12th grades are welcome and encouraged to join in our Youth Ministry programs. Retreats and service activities, weekly meetings and other activities are all part of this ministry. Celestial Navigators is designed for youth in grades 4 & 5, Junior Lighthouse meets the needs of our 6th, 7th and 8th graders & Lighthouse is designed for our High school age Youth. Adults who love working with young people are welcome to become involved as volunteers. For more information, contact the Office of Youth Ministry (255.0433). Religious Articles Shop: Located off the school corridor, this shop is open on Saturdays from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Rosaries, jewelry, statues, Bibles, books, infant and children’s items, plus many other gifts are available.
